The historic Volcom Fiji Pro was preempted by the children of a furious South Pacific storm. This image shot by master lensman Tom Servais is one of the finest and most dramatic of the day. We see Mark Healey's 8'6"-foot surfboard, detached from its rider, drifting helplessly over the monster. According to witnesses, this particular wave actually rearranged refrigerator sized boulders on the reef, sending them flying upon impact.

The image reminds us of our attraction to the waves - subtly dangerous, pulse quickening, and altogether gorgeous at the same time.

Each Great Breaks image is printed using high definition photographic imaging on white aluminum. The result is an image that radiates with the same energy and power of the ocean as the day it was captured. No expensive framing necessary. Your print comes hang-ready, with mounting hardware already affixed to the image mount. All you need is a hammer, a nail, and a wall to hang them on.
